beginner’s skin care routine

I get asked a lot, what I use on my skin for it to be so clear. I’ve never really gotten into skincare or the idea of having a skincare routine. I always just did the typical “wash your face before you go to sleep,” and “put lotion on every once in a while” type thing. It wasn’t until recently when I was talking to my friend, and she was explaining how important it is to take care of your skin.

I started researching this topic and reading a beauty book by Lauren Conrad to learn more. This is when I realized, how important it actually is. Not only to have beautiful skin right now but also to prevent wrinkles, aging, eye bags and the other annoying things us women have to deal with.

I’ve been using skincare products for about 8 months and I’ve already noticed a difference in clearer and softer skin!

There are a lot of really good quality products I’ve used that are reasonably priced; so find what works for you and stick with it. I want to keep trying new products and see which ones have the best results on my skin.

Over my next few beauty and style posts I’m going to share with you my top 10 list of do’s and dont’s I’ve learned and as I continue learning and experimenting different beauty products.

Skincare tip #1:

Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!!!

I have pretty oily skin and I’ve always thought that it meant you shouldn’t use moisturizer. I quickly learned that in using certain products I could balance my PH scale and create softer, clearer, more healthy skin. Hydrating your skin is essential!

Here are some of my favorite moisturizers:

belif~ moisturizing bomb

Arbonne~ daily moisturizer (contains spf)

Arbonne~ deep moisturizer
