Fan-girling so hard because I met Kari Jobe!!!💗🙌🏻😍
~Ever since I was little I’ve looked up to Kari Jobe as a role model in my life. It has been in my hardest seasons of life that God used her music and what she stands for to inspire me.
~This weekend I got the opportunity to go to meet Kari and experience her passion for what she does.
~Pre concert I was one of a few people to participate in a worship workshop hosted by Kari herself! She talked about the importance of being a worship leader and the responsibility that comes with it, as well as some of her favorite experiences. I asked her what her one piece of advice would be for me as a young aspiring worship leader. Her response was very simple but powerful, “get involved in leading at a young age and take any opportunity that comes to sing and continue growing your gift.”
~The biggest thing I took away from this opportunity was the way Kari carried herself. While she was performing, her presence and the peace she had was so beautiful. I saw from watching her how she wasn’t there to entertain and in everything she did she gave God the glory.
~There are so many times we miss opportunities because we focus and care about what others will think or say about us. It is so important to make sure in everything you do you know why you do it. I have learned the hard way, you can’t please everyone so do what makes you happy, know what you stand for and never let anyone change your standards!
